The bungalow is situated in the Forest Trails Township, but is one of the customized bungalows. The owner being an I.T. giant, we had deliberations with him and customized the design to suit his life-style.
AVA was engaged for architectural, interior design and landscape concept services.
A fully automated house for an I.T. giant is visualized and created to cater to public, semi-public and private zones in the house design.
The upper floor has four bedrooms and a home theatre with a pantry attached. The east side courtyard offers an inviting place for morning breakfast. A three-car garage and servant’s room are tucked in on the right side.
The interiors are done by AVA keeping in mind the international status of the client. Contemporary in style with pleasing colour themes for the rooms. The landscaping is worked out in collaboration with architect Jayant Dharap.
The fourth floor is occupied by the owner and designed to cater to his requirements. The ‘barsati’ on the terrace is the highlight of the house and enjoyed by the owner very much. The approach to interior design of the fourth floor is based on the ‘Peshwa’ style. Arches and decorative elements are used throughout. Motifs and inlay work in wood and inlay flooring are detailed out to give a rich ambience.
